SCHNEIDER Torsysteme now offers folding doors and doors in resistance class RC3 – in addition to the proven RC2 version. Our products therefore meet the requirements of DIN TS 18194 (folding doors) and DIN EN 1627 (doors), tested and certified by the renowned ift Rosenheim.

What do RC2 and RC3 mean?

The resistance classes (Resistance Class, RC) indicate how well a building element withstands an attempted break-in:

RC2 reliably protects against opportunistic offenders using simple tools.
RC3 withstands targeted attacks with heavier tools and longer attack times.

Dimensions

Folding doors up to 15,600 mm width × 7,000 mm height

Doors up to 1,200 mm width × 2,500 mm height

Depending on the resistance class RC2 or RC3, specially tested panels and safety glazing (P4A or P5A) are used.
The systems can be operated manually or electrically and combine certified security with modern design and long-lasting functionality.
